Use these chemical instructions to help make maintaining your hot tub easy. Start off by adding Metal and Scale Control.Add 1/2 ounce per 150 gallons of spa water. Circulate on high speed for 30 minutes with blowers off. Do not inject air. Repeat weekly as a maintenance treatment.

Using test strips, measure the pH of the water to find out if you need to adjust the pH. It should be maintained at 7.2 to 7.8. Use either pH Increaser or pH Decreaser, which ever applies. There is a table on the side of the Brilliance containers to determine the correct amount to add.Add to the filter skimmer with the spa circulation system running. Leave running for 30 minutes and recheck the pH.Add additional pH increaser or decreaser, as necessary. PH levels should be checked and adjusted frequently. The first week or two, it is hard to stabilize but after that, it becomes much easier.

Filters should be cleaned once every week or two with water for best results. Filter Cleaner should be used at least once a month. There are two products available, the standard Filter Cleaner, as well as the Spray & Rinse Filter Cleaner.

After filters are cleaned, ScumShield can be used to restore water clarity by assisting the filter in removing tiny particles that can cause clouding.Spa should be filtering continuously throughout treatment.
